Here's what you need to know BEFORE your appointment ........

You will have received a link to fill out our general consent & medical form via email. Please do this ASAP. It will enable us to establish if there is a medical condition or medication you take that means you need a doctor's consent form to be signed prior to your appointment. If we are not notified of this ahead of your appointment, then you will not be able to proceed with the treatment and you will lose your deposit.

We want to avoid this, so filling out the form ahead of time will eliminate this issue.

A £50 deposit is required to secure your booking. If you haven't already done so, please click on the link on your confirmation email to make the payment. The system will automatically cancel the booking after 10 days.

Prior to your permanent cosmetic enhancement, think about the look you wish to achieve. I have an extensive portfolio on my web and social media sites. It is good to know which styles of ours you are drawn to and not so.

We will use our expertise to advise and consult with you on colour, shape and style prior to commencing the treatment. It will be a very thorough process. Be prepared for the colour intensity to be significantly sharper and darker immediately after the procedure. This will subside and become softer as the skin heals. This is usually within 5-7 days of treatment.

General Pre-Treatment Advice

• Since delicate skin or sensitive areas may be swollen or red, you are advised not to make social plans on the day of your enhancement.

•  Please wear your normal make-up to your enhancement appointment.

• Do not take Aspirin or Ibuprofen 2 days prior to and after your enhancement.

• Do not discontinue any medication before consulting your doctor.

• Keep alcohol intake to a minimum 2 days prior to your enhancement.

• A sensitivity test must have been performed a minimum of 24 hours prior to appointment.

• Do not use Retin A skincare products close to the enhancement area 1 month prior to and after your procedure.

• Do not use AHA skincare products close to the enhancement area 2 weeks prior to and after your procedure.

• Do not exercise on the day of your treatment.

• Check The National Blood Service for their current time before accepting donations of blood post permanent cosmetic enhancement if you wish to donate.

Eyebrow Enhancement

• Waxing treatments should be performed no less than 1 week prior to your enhancement. Your beautician may take a hair that we could incorporate into our design. We will remove any hairs that sit outside of our design and you will leave us with a clean brow.

• IPL laser hair removal should be performed no less than 2 weeks prior to your enhancement.

• Electrolysis close to the brow or brow tinting should not be undertaken for 2 weeks prior to and after your enhancement.

Lip Enhancement

• If you have a history of cold sores (herpes simplex) and are scheduling a lip enhancement, we advise you to contact your GP to discuss the possibility of them prescribing oral acyclovir. This can help minimise an outbreak. Permanent cosmetic enhancements do not cause cold sores, however if you carry the virus, it lays dormant in the nervous system and can be aroused by the infusion process. Please also contact me to let me know ASAP so we can assure you are protected from an outbreak prior to your appointment, treatment CANNOT go ahead without pre-medication if you have the virus.

• IPL laser hair removal, lip wax or bleaching close to the lip should not be undertaken for a 2 week period prior to and after your enhancement.

• You WILL have swelling after treatment so please do not plan to do any crucial events after for a few days.

Laser Removal

• Do not go in the sun without a factor SPF 50 on the area to be treated up to 30 days before and 30 days after.

• Laser Removal is more effective the better your immune system is. Taking extra care to keep healthy in the build up and after will assist in making your removal more successful.

• Ensure you have filled out your forms EVERY TIME prior to arrival at the clinic. This must be done every session even if done prior.
